We would not be where we are today without the incredible support of countless individuals and networks around the world. From the start, with Join EDuC, the six dedicated members of our working group and 25 participants in our stakeholder consultation donated their time generously because of their strong belief in the power of education for sustainable development and the need to accelerate change in higher education. For Back to School for the Planet (BTSP), we could never have begun without the support of participating program leaders and faculty, as well as fellow sustainability facilitators and advisors.
Dozens of experts, consultants, mentors, volunteers, freelancers, and interns have shaped our journey – their talents in many cases only being rivalled by their advocacy for sustainability and education. Their commitment and insights continue to inspire and propel us forward in our mission to accelerate transformative change.

EDuC Label Ambassadors play an important role in supporting and promoting the mission of the EDuC Label within their respective institutions and communities. As advocates for sustainability integration in higher education, Ambassadors serve as key liaisons between the EDuC Label team and programs seeking accreditation, providing guidance, assistance, and support throughout the accreditation process.
Their primary responsibilities include guidance and support, where Ambassadors accompany programs seeking accreditation, helping them navigate the accreditation process, address challenges, and maximize their sustainability efforts.
Additionally, Ambassadors are tasked with promotion and outreach, promoting awareness of the EDuC Label within their institutions and communities, advocating for the importance of sustainability integration in higher education, and encouraging participation in the accreditation process. They also facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration among accredited programs, sharing best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to inspire and inform.
Furthermore, EDuC Label Ambassadors provide feedback to the EDuC Label team on the accreditation process, criteria, and resources, helping to identify areas for improvement and enhancement.
